The room was nice, had a microwave, and a huge TV with all the apps installed. I had a nice comfortable stay especially because the room was clean. Make sure you order from the Riki Tiki bar -- the food is amazing.

Location was good, Access to beach excellent. Hotel itself needs remodeling ASAP has the potential to be a really good hotel with all the amenities it has to offer. However outdated rooms Everything in the room needs to be remodeled, replaced, or thrown away only thing can be kept is the TV..LOL Also on the website it advertises self parking options. False Advertising there is no self parking, you have to use their Valet. And the Valet is Slooooowwwwww I waited in line for 20 min and this was returning back to the hotel the line was down to the street curb other cars were blowing. For someone who book the hotel for one of the reason being self parking I was disappointed because I go in and out a lot when on vacay. This was a big inconvenience for me. I would not stay here again. Overall my stay was ok wasn’t terrible but wasn’t good either. Nuetral

Old building on Collins Ave. Not a luxury experience at all. It’s clean (meaning no roaches) and it’s on Collins Ave. Valet parking was good, the wait was not that bad. I might go back there for a solo trip. No way for a family trip.

The pool area and RikiTiki Bar were awesome. The little shops inside were convenient. The location and beach access were very nice. The room reeked of mold and mildew which made staying in the actual room an uncomfortable experience. This hotel should not offer valet. Their system is not efficient. I heard of people missing their flights, and it was just a long and painful process that cut into precious vacation time just to access or use your vehicle.

The hotel overall is very nice. The pool is nice, large and the poolside tiki bar was a great, prices are reasonable and snack food was good. The only thing I would say is the unit we stayed in needed upgrades in the bathroom. Nothing too terrible just some small touch ups. Unit was clean, linens were fresh, towels were clean, overall a good experience.

This is my second stay. You can't beat the price for the location. The beach is unique in that it has a smll sand bar just off shore, great for kids. Free valet, you just saved $50 a night. The room was clean. The elevators are a little funky by design so be patient., The in house stores are convenient, The pool side cafe is awesome with amazing service by ladies that remember you and make you feel welcome.

Very comfortable and home feeling. All the staff are super friendly and helpful. Very family oriented. If you’re a family with young children this is the place to come. No loud music, no party lifestyle, it’s in the middle of north and south beach. Right on beach out the back door. Large pool and tiki restaurant with lots of food and drinks. Would recommend 10/10 to anyone. Been here 6 months and stayed in several different rentals in the building and Miarentals is by far the best out of all the companies that rent out rooms here.

Misleading description

The stay was ok. The location is really good. Right next to the beach and walking distance to restaurants or shops. The pool is deep and has gate access right to the beach. They do have shops for groceries and stuff you forgot. The restaurant by the pool had good food The check in was terrible. Took about 40 minutes to just get checked in...long line and many issues with reservations. Not the friendliest of people at the check in desk The spa and gym were closed. The place looks, feels and smells old. The description is misleading. As there is no murphy bed it's just a mini twin cot that barely stays open, better to sleep on the floor. There's no tv in the room and the only other tv was in the dining room.

Honestly this place has potential. It’s very outdated but if they actually put some time into it and fix it up it can be beautiful. Cracking all over the walls outside, elevator making weird noises.. i just feel like they need to fix the entire place up. Pool was very huge! Right next to the beach. They don’t go into rooms at all during ur stay so you just kinda have to keep asking for more towels etc. They leave beach chairs and umbrellas in ur room but they are kinda cheap so be careful! Also the store downstairs in the lower lobby is way too overpriced and the lady has a huge attitude talking about people in spanish thinking we don’t understand! There was a bug in the restroom as well some floors smelt like weed… even though it’s a no smoking hotel. Other than that the room was okay, you get what you pay for.

You get what you pay for. Positives - Cheap. Great view of ocean. Negatives - The hair dryer didn't work. They replaced it quickly. The outlet in the bathroom didn't work. They replaced it the next day. Then the shower only ran warm (whereas the faucet was hot). It was World War 3 to get them to fix that. They argued with me for 2 hours - tried to convince me that for safety purposes it's supposed to only be warm. But I knew that wasn't true because my friend's room in the same building was HOT. I demanded a supervisor and had to fight this out with BOTH of them. Finally my older age and immense traveling experience won the day and they finally fixed it. The last day I discovered that both of the kitchenette lights were out. And one of the towels had blood on it (not mine). So buyer beware - it's a very inexpensive place to stay but you'll likely have broken things. In the end - I would probably stay here again because I love a bargain. And the sheets were soft.
