so if you get the suite the size is amazing, living room, dining area and large bedroom, i stayed in two of the same style units, one was newer but both were spacious and nice. the location is great for that area and stuff is sweet, but can make executive decisions - eg i stayed in the hotel for 5 nights 3 then cam back for 2, the 2nd time i asked to move rooms bc i booked a regular instead of suite, which i paid for online - so i asked them to clean my room last and the new room first so i wouldn't be stranded - front desk couldn't wrap her head around it - so for 2 hour si had to wait around - other than that good stay

Things I loved about Boulan: -proximity to the beach -cleanliness -great equipment at the gym -rooftop pool/lounge area -balcony -expresso machine in room -rooms have EVERYTHING you need (e.g. a clothing steamer, a sponge to wash the dishes) -in room washer dryer Honestly, I could go on. This was an exceptional stay; I would 1000% recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone!!!

Very nice room in a great location right on Collins, short walk to the beach as well as tons of restaurants, bars, cafes, etc. We even found a place within 2 blocks serving dinner at 1:30am. Room was bigger and more well appointed than expected.

I have had the best stay at Boulan my room was (penthouse 6 ) and was clean and provided a partial ocean view as listed! We also had use of the pool on the roof and literally a 5 minute walk or less to the ocean! We had housekeeping daily and had plenty of food choices in the area. Highly recommended hotel for anyone staying in south beach

Great location and nice pool area and bar. Needed some TLC though, as did the hotel throughout as it was a bit tired. Pool lift broke and also our A/C broke on our final night - they did fix it though. Our main problem was that there was a problem with our room and instead of a 2 bed suite (which was the reason we chose the hotel) we were put in 2 separate rooms. And the main issue was the manager didn't really care and didn't offer any compensation. We had to really push and eventually got a tiny bit of a discount and a free breakfast, but shemade us feel like a nuisance. Spoilt our first night and morninh of a 3 night stay so we were disappointed. We would not stay here again as we didn't get what we paid for.

Great room (balcony suite) and great staff and service. Just the right balance of being attentive and also not interrupting my good time. Would definitely go back there again! The pool is great! We had the 3 bedroom penthouse, it was fantastic. Huge balcony and beautiful interior. They gave us a free bottle of wine which was a nice touch, but maybe consider white/bubbles in the summer instead of red. The translucent doors to the bedrooms do let through a ton of light, so bring a sleep mask if you plan to sleep past sunrise. One other slightly disappointing thing was the roof balcony access was bolted closed for some reason. Overall a great spot and would recommend and stay again.
