Staff were all really helpful. A wonderful added feature, possibly unique to Central hotels is a 24x7 Cafe offering sandwiches and hot/cold drinks including beer that’s free to guests in beautiful atrium with living wall.

The Zocalo Central was amazing. Free abundant breakfast at the charming rooftop restaurant plus hearty snacks and beer 24/7. The room was quiet and beautiful. The location perfect for seeing the historic center and all kinds of shopping. We found some of the front desk staff to be somewhat disdainful. We were not asked to open a spending account upon check in when we paid for the entire trip which resulted in our laundry being held hostage at 10 PM because we didn’t have “credit”. The lady insisted we go to the front desk in our PJs to open a “credit” account but finally her colleague came to the room with the credit card machine and our laundry that we needed in the morning. It was unfortunate that we were not appraised of the issue when we had called earlier. We had also offered to pay cash or use the credit card on file but the lady insisted it was impossible. So make sure that you open a “credit” account at check in if they forget to ask to avoid these problems.

The staff is extremely professional and always wanting to help guests. Hats off to Raul, Daniel, Antonio, Jose Luis, rooftop, housekeeping and all employees, they have the right attitude so customers would want to return to this property. Huge plus is free water, breakfast and 24/7 beer, food and location!

Stayed for a week at this property with my family in March 2024. The entire staff was very helpful, excellent and were proactive in taking care of your needs. The manager, Mr. Francisco did listen to our concerns of limited vegetarian choices in the breakfast. The rooftop restaurant staff did everything and went out of their way to serve some vegetarian choices for us. There is a 24/7 snack bar, which is included in the cost of costthe stay and has a number of snack and drink choices. The location is very convenient and in the heart of the city. If we visit Mexico City again, I will again stay at this hotel, and have already been recommending this hotel to my friends and family.
