Polanco is a nice alternative to Condessa. Hotel is located in the quiet heart of Polanco...very walkable for food and coffee. Lobby is well appointed but room decor is on the border between eurochic and vulgar. The art and green light around the bed come to mind on that latter end of the continuum. Room was large. Shower was wonferful. Bed and linens was very comfortable . Toiletries were high end. Room was clean but had to ask for daily cleaning two days when we returned in late afternoon and the room still hadn't been cleaned. Service kind. All were patient with our Spanish. Would stay there again but also want to explore other CDMX hotels.

Great little hotel, they catered to our every request. Staff was excellent! Room service delicious at 2am. Location is great, a short walk to great restaurants, lots of options. In a very quiet part of town despite being so close to everything.

Nice rooms, great service, and excellent location! 24 hour room service, and be sure to try the fish tacos. Polanco is a safe area for walking to shops and restaurants. The food in the area is amazing! Everything is a 5-15 minute walk. Or Uber for only $3 - $5.

I should have listened to the reviews but the hotel is average at best. It is definitely not 5 Star quality. The Good: Location is good. Very walkable. But unless you're here for business or fine dining, it's probably best to stay in Roma area. A lot more to do besides eating. In general thw staff was nice. The Bad: Room initially given is in a very loud section of the hotel. But is considered Elite member level which it is not. Sheets had a very wet feel. Probably due to humidity but it didn't feel humid. No pool so not a great place for a relaying vacation. Had a weird encounter with an employee that entered my room and opened something that didn't belong to him. Felt like a violation of privacy. I reported to front desk upon checkout and she apologized. Overall my stay wasn't the best. I plan to visit Mexico City again but will not stay at the W.
