I like the excelent property location, the staff is great and helpful. What I didnt like is that they are charging the parking (just started July 1rst) the charge is not excessive but it still is a charge and it took me by surprise since Expedia does not advise there is a charge.

Gym it’s very basic and limited, gym equipment needs maintenance. WiFi needs to be upgraded. The two restaurants are good , staff is ok for Mexican standards . Parking is through valet only.

The location of the hotel is great, there’s a lot of places to eat and it’s within 10 minutes of Chapultepec. The hotel definitely needs some updates in their rooms, especially the bedding. The sink in my room wasn’t draining well enough, it would take some time for all the water to go down. Also the gym is in need of an upgrade too. Some of the machines weren’t working and it’s very limited for people like me who like to stay fit even on vacation. Other than that, the staff were great and helpful.

My reservation was for a junior suite. I arrived early to the property and asked if my room was ready or if I could do an early check-in. They right away said no, that was not an option. I came back at 3 and my room still not ready. They took another 15 mins to find me a room. It was a nice room they gave me with a view, but I immediately encountered the following issues, the room was dirty, tables bathroom, carpet, not pleasant at all. The appearance of the room was very dated... the windows are old and need to be cleaned or re-tinted as it ruins the view you're supposed to have. There was a coffee maker in the room, but there was no coffee bags, etc. Under the sink, there was an active water leak every time we washed our hands or took a shower. The bathroom does not have a stand alone shower, you must stand in the very slippery tub and there was no vent. Every time I took a shower the room was full of steam. I liked the central location of the property, but they do need to do a major renovation to the rooms.

This hotel is very centrally located. We were surprised by how many events happen in the center of Mexico that require the city streets to be shut down. Maybe we were unlucky with gay pride and the World Cup being on at the same time. We were on the eleventh floor and we were still able to hear an awful lot of the city down below. This is an older hotel but they do put in a lot of effort to maintain it. The restaurants were good. The staff were extremely friendly. The elevators worked. The rooms were clean. The shower was out of this world, super high pressure. Overall this was a very good value for money.

The gym is outdated, old weights and thread mills. But you can get it done. Pool has a nice look but is on the small side. Bathrooms need updating. Kept having to place towels down to prevent overflowing water on the floor of the rest of the bathroom. Breakfast and bar area are good and decently priced. The staff was very nice. Room service was good but could be faster.
