There’s not enough words to describe how incredible the staff at the hotel made us feel. Although we traveled for different reasons, our wedding anniversary fell within the days we stayed at the hotel. We mentioned it during our check in and what happened next, left us speechless (and a little teary-eyed). They took it upon themselves to give us a couple of back-to-back surprises, not to mention that the overall treatment they afforded us was way above average — it was amazingly warm and attentive. On top of that, the hotel is great, beautiful and clean. Our room had a pretty balcony and the cleaning staff did a great job every day. The area around it is packed with historical, dining, shopping and cultural attractions. Be warned, it can be very busy and traffic — both vehicle and pedestrian — can be very heavy, so if you’re looking for an isolated getaway, neither the hotel or CDMX’s centro histórico are your thing. Gracias, Eli, Lore, Didi and Beto and the rest of the staff! We loved there and will be back.

This was our first trip to Mexico City, the staff was welcoming and helpful in every way. Since it is in the historic district there were lots of touring groups but also couples. The breakfasts and the 24 hour cafe served delicious food and drinks. Rooms were sparkling clean. It always felt good returning to hotel after a long day and enjoying their sitting area with the live “plant wall”. Boutique hotels have a special feel and this one succeeded beautifully. I was sad to leave!
