Nice cool house they’ve converted to a series of rooms. The apts are a bit dated (to be expected) but very spacious. But, I don’t think any of these should be for more than 2 guests. Felt very safe. No reception really. Great location. Floors were a bit dusty but the bathroom lotions and all smelled amazing. Cool balconies in the rooms (I got a tour of all of them lol)
Loved the small boutique feel of this property and lovely common area spaces. The penthouse room is a great space and love the "living area" for relaxing mid-day, but be ready to climb a lot of stairs! We especially loved the location which is walkable to great restaurants and local sites in Condesa and Roma Norte. Would definitely stay here again.
We loved this location and the room, and the outdoor common space. Our room was on top of a restaurant/bar that played loud repetitive music till late at night, so we did not like that. I would go back if i could get a room not disturbed by the music.

Not bad but some issues
Ok so you're in the center of mexico city but if you are noise sensitive this is not for you..
There was single glazing with poor sound isolation.
Another huge issue is mould. There is no extraction in the bathroom meaning i found black mold on the mirror in the bedroom.. not good.
The building is great, characterful and the apartment ameneities are top notch.
Another issue is I was told I could leave my bags under the stairs in the entrance hallway. It did not fill me with confidence seeing the door to the street being left open, so I don't reccomend this.
Great comms via whatsapp so not bad.

I didnt love it. Staff was amazing I must say to give them credit. I was expecting more of a hotel type but i would say its more like an airbnb. Staff is not really available but you can chat them up via phone and they are responsive. We had a day where we had no hot water and the internet was tough to connect to and some days just wouldn't work. The area where they are located is stunning...resturants right outside property are delicious. Also was just disapointed in amenities no food, beverages, ice, pool etc. All things to keep in mind if you book here.

Casa Mannach is in a great central location. The room was large but a bit shabby and dark. Relatively flat reception with the host giving us no information at all.
There was a lot of maintenance work going on in the property so it was noisy.
The bar and restaurant next door was the best feature for me, although we had an apartment overlooking the street so the noise could be heard but was fine if you shut the kitchen door.
For the price there is definitely better alternatives in the area.
We had a great stay at Casa Mannach. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and the shower was amazing. The hotel is a boutique with only 8 rooms, and we barely saw other guests. There is a bar downstairs playing loud music so I was concerned that it would be noisy, but the soundproofing was great because we couldn’t hear a thing from our room! They accommodated our late 11pm check in which was also appreciated. There’s a common lounge and terrace which are both lovely spaces. The location was fantastic and very safe and walkable.
This is a small boutique hotel and the front desk isn’t staffed most of the time, so if you’re looking for 24/7 concierge service then this probably isn’t for you. Also the hotel didn’t supply bottled water in the room, although there was filtered water in the lounge.
Overall fantastic stay!
Casa Mannach was a great jumping off point to explore Condesa and Roma Norte!
We stayed for 3 nights and the location could not have been more convenient with myriad restaurants nearby (Merkava was AMAZING for a break from tacos) and Parque Mexico 1 block away to explore and people watch. Check-in was easy and staff was available to help get our bags up to fourth floor penthouse (Thank you!). The property was very well clean and well kempt. Bed was comfortable with ample pillows and there was plenty of space to spread out/for storage. Great water pressure in the shower and shampoo/conditioner/body wash was provided. did not use the common areas but they were night with coffee, snacks and filtered water available to guests. Ceiling fan was already on on arrival and floor fan was running full blast to keep the room cool.
I will caution that I did not properly heed the notice of no A/C, felt the lack of A/C in penthouse would not be an issue but it was very warm during the day. Not a knock against Casa Mannach but want to prepare others. It did cool down at night with fans to circulate and both windows open to facilitate a breeze. Windo next to bed would not stay all the open but managed to prop; notified staff so hopefully that issue is resolved.
My one concern was entry via an electronic door lock that is used in front of a busy restaurant and an onlooker could pretty easily get the code if they really wanted to.
All in all, highly recommend and would stay again!
