Whilst the location is very central and relatively convenient, the hotel rooms feel very dated and are in need of rejuvenation. The bathroom in particular was less than desirable... The staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful - no fault there.

I have stayed at this hotel many times over the last 35 years. It is a wonderful location. It is an older property which appeals to me. It is decorated with talavera tiles which I find very attractive. It has no "glitz" factor. If you want stainless steel and granite this is not your property. It you need 5 stars this is not your property. If you want a great location, a helpful staff, a clean location and good food this is a very good fit.

This hotel is in the best place, in the middle of everything. You can see the zocalo and the cathedral from your room. It is a bit older but that is part of the charm. There are so many iconic things to do around there and so close by. You can walk to many places. Location, location, location.
