Don’t let the front façade of this motel fool you. The rooms were completely renovated and very well done. The pool and lounge area was great with very comfortable seating outside. The outside views were great and the night sky was great for stargazing.

The room was big and renovated and incredibly clean. The pool was outstanding, nice and cool and the view amazing. It sits right on the river and they really took advantage of the view. There isn’t much nearby for food or beverage so you need to plan accordingly but that isn’t the fault of the motel.

It was tough to find somewhere to stay near Monument Valley, but I was pleasantly surprised with Hat Rock Inn! The rooms were very clean, felt recently renovated, beds were comfy. Overall a quiet, simple stay. Would definitely stay here again!

Clean room. The room was lovely! better than I expected. Don’t let the outside fool you. The staff was straight to the point, very accommodating. I didn’t have to pay for incidental fee which was nice. It’s convenient if you’re on the road, we travelled from Sedona stopped at Monument Valley for the afternoon, checked in to our room and were able to check out Valley of the Gods the same evening. I love how it was across from the gas station, 7 eleven, restaurant. I would definitely recommend this Hat Rock if you’re passing through.

Lovely motel in the middle of not much.there’s restaurants within shouting distance, the pool was fantastic and the bed was comfortable. The view and sunset were incredible. Would stay there again. Great location to be close to a few tourist destinations too. Staff was great also.

The owners are making improvements to the property. Room was very nice. The pool was like a 4 star resort with a much needed hot tube after hiking all day. Outside of the buildings need work. Staff were professional. View from the pool area awesome.

The room was clean. The View was incredible. Staff was very helpful. Pool area was clean. The only problem may have been the gravel parking lot because we were on motorcycles but other than that it was fine. I would definitely stay there again.
