Really beautiful place. It’s a historic building that has been lovingly restored by the owner. Great water pressure. The owner and his partner were very friendly and sent us recommendations even though we only stayed one night. Messina is gorgeous so we’ll go back. And hopefully we can stay at this property again

Nice room ,very clean.Check in was easy and we were facilitated with and earlier than expected check in. Property on a quiet street but only 100 meters or so from the Cathedral. Lots of options for restaurants and thanks to recommendations we received from the owner we had a couple of nights in very traditional local restaurants

This is a lovely property, the place is very clean, and has been decorated beautifully. There was ample breakfast that we could help ourselves to (the sort of croissants in plastic bags - typical Italian breakfast) There was a fabulous coffee machine and plates, cutlery, kettle and a microwave, so we could make our own drinks and a simple meal. We came in March so the room was cold, rather than hot, until we worked out how to use the air-conditioning to warm us up. The bed was large and comfy. The shower room was small but provided everything and had excellent water pressure so we had nice showers. The apartment was 5 mins walk from the Duomo, which has a fascinating clock tower. It chimes at midday with 7 mins of music and moving bronzes and has a very interesting history. Well worth the visit. We only stayed 2 nights and had one day to explore, so didn't really see any more of Messina. There were countless eateries around the plaza within 5 minutes walk and a nice supermarket close by. It was 15 mins walk from the station, which was handy for us as we came by train. It was nice and quiet during the latter part of the night but over the evening had the usual array of noisy bikes rushing past. I guess you can't expect otherwise in the centre of town. Overall it was a good experience. Antonella was really helpful and gave us recommendations for places to eat and visit. I feel she looked after us very well. Thank you

The room was really nice with comfortable bed and a good shower. The breakfast is just packaged goods and stale cereal but tea, coffee etc is good. We stayed on a Friday night, arriving quite late. We were awoken many times throughout the night with cars racing up the street and often with music blaring. To our surprise in the morning, the street that we thought must have a main road, was just a small street. Anyway, this is not the fault of the property. They were very nice and helpful and let us leave our bags after check out.

The location is perfect for getting around Messina. The decor has been beautifully and lovingly curated. What makes this place stand out is the owners who work as a team to make your stay perfect. I got very sick and was hospitalized while staying there. Antonella called the ambulance and gave my wife updates since no one at the hospital spoke English. She even called a taxi when she found out I was being discharged. We will never forget Antonella and Rosario's kindness. We would give this spot 10 stars if possible.

Apartment was located 100 meters from the Piazza Duomo, shopping and restaurants. Great spot for a day to explore Messina or take the ferry to mainland Italy. Breakfast was not included in the booking but the host provided it for free anyway. Highly recommend this B&B.
