The hotel is a smaller motel in a small town. It has been updated and the rooms are great. Sorry cute area. Has a pavilion, a place for a bonfire and a grill. Staff was super friendly ! It was close to many places to visit along Lake Michigan. I would recommend this motel if you are in this area.

The location of this motel was excellent. It was located on the main drive right up to Traverse City. The rooms were 100% clean, absolutely spotless, the amenities were amazing, and we were very happy. There were sufficient bedsheets, multiple pillows, and we had a great view of the outside farm country. The staff was very friendly, very talkative, very professional, and very enjoyable to be around. Considering we paid less than half of what they were charging in Traverse City, which was just 30 miles up the road, this is definitely the best price for the value on your travel. I would highly recommend staying here if you were anywhere in the area.

First time here and it was great! Check-in was fantastic. The lady who checked us in was super nice and very helpful. The room was huge and super clean. The a/c was great! No elevators in the building, but wasn’t a bad stair climb.

I stayed in the motel not the cabins. The room was nice A/C worked well very comfortable. Don’t expect all the extras like a chain brand though. I’d recommend it.

Our room was definitely updated at some point relatively recently...newer carpet, updated bathroom. The room was pretty clean and didn't have any "oders" that one might expect from a "motel". Beds were OK, typical firmer hotel beds. No issues with anything, really. Office personnel were friendly and helpful.

This is my new favorite place- right down from Ellen's Shell station that has the best pizza in town. :). I felt safe who was clean they use Dove products, so grateful for your skin, the environment and women's initiatives. Just an all-around wonderful place that deserves the five stars. Breakfast was namebrand muffins, coffee, but no fresh fruit. Only recommendation I'd make to the staff, it would be lovely if you put out a few apples or oranges at breakfast. Thanks for a lovely stay and we hope you have a fantastic summer season.

The property was family owned through many years. Recently, they have gone through stripped everything and re-remodeled the rooms as well as the exterior. The rooms were nicer than some fancier hotels we've stayed in. We loved it and felt like it was really a wonderful place to stay.
