Book it book it book it. The Hotelier is a wonderfully kind person with vast local knowledge. If you want a Gilded Age experience the 200 yr old mansion is a stunner.

We visited in mid-August & were greeted by the gracious, helpful owner & staff. We found gorgeous rooms & decor, delicious & substantial breakfast (including a full take-away breakfast when we had to leave pre-service hours for a tour), a convenient location near Merida Central Plaza, a wonderful, clean pool, lovely amenities, & an adjacent restaurant for additional meals & beverages. We'll create an opportunity to return!

This has to be one the most beautiful hotels I've ever stayed in, and I travel all over the world! The room was so large and beautiful with a large restroom and a big rain shower and all the amenities. The breakfast was excellent with so many choices! And the service impeccable!!! I'd stay here over and over again! If you are ever in Mérida stay at the Mansion Mérida! You too will be writing a great review! So grateful to all the staff for their excellent service! They even surprised with a picture of us in the hotel with a gracious hand written note!

Celebrating Our Anniversary

The hotel was beautiful in a very convenient location that was walkable and in the middle of everything. The hotel was impeccable and the staff was top notch from check in to breakfast to valet to turn down service. I love the general open area for sitting. It was wonderful to start off with a hearty breakfast for our adventures of the day!

Not only is the property absolutely fabulous, Raul and his staff were incredibly gracious and accommodating! The breakfast was delicious and the hotel restaurant for dinner was a great option - however there are many incredible restaurants in walking distance. You will not regret a stay at this hotel!

The place is unique , well kept property ,a historic place . In the heart of the city, what lacks in modern features , it complements with the beauty of the place . The owner calls everyone by their name , takes the time to ask if all is well . This stunning boutique hotel in the heart of the historic center of Merida was formerly a private mansion. The 14 guest rooms are centered around an open courtyard with a fountain and restaurant. The guest rooms are spacious luxurious. The staff are very friendly and the owner is on the premises daily. The location is ideal being within minutes walking distance to historic sights, restaurants and markets. We would definitely recommend, our stay was incredible!

This is a wonderful hotel. The hotel has the romance, grandeur, and visual appeal of an old colonial home, paired with amazing showers, comfortable beds, and unbelievably attentive service. We loved this hotel. And the location is the best in the city. All of the restaurants, shops, and museums are within easy walking distance.
