This old Hacienda is an amazing place to stay in Merida, in a very quiet and elegant zone of downtown Merida. Place is beautiful. VERY comfortable beds, and blackout curtains so you can have an amazing sleep. Will be back soon

Hotel was upscaled couple of decades ago, needs upgrades, plumbing & AC works but obviously are old. Hotel smells with humid air, can't open any window to get fresh air into the room or whole ways.

We ( a family of 4 with one young child) stayed on the 31st Dec for 2 nights. Just outside the hotel there was a huge open air NYE event with music blaring until 3am. Literally blaring like we were at a pop concert. The hotel did not warn us about this, despite selling tickets to the event so being fully aware and a part of the event. We got 3 hours sleep. I can’t believe others have not also complained. We also ask for breakfast to go at 7am on the 1st Jan and when we came down to collect it ( we were going on an excursion) which they said yea to. Then when we came down they didn’t have it, knew nothing about it and said breakfast opens at 8 not 7, so they couldn’t do anything. It’s a pity their staff in reception the day before didn’t even know what time they serve breakfast! We also asked about laundry, as the hotel claims to have a laundry service. However, no info to say that it would not be running over the new year period so we were stuck there as well. Overall lovely hotel building, nice rooms and location but poor service

Habitaciones dentro de lo estándar, NEFASTO, que hagan El aseo hasta después de las 4 pm. Alberca ponerle calefacción a pesar que es Mérida debe pensar que no toda la vida están a 40 grados como para tenerla sin calefacción.

El trato es un poco frío. El hotel estaba vacío y hubo poca disposición para ofrecer un servicio de calidad. Nadie atiende en áreas comunes y todo va en botellas de plástico y vasos deshechables. Esta propiedad no respeta ninguno de los beneficios que te ofrece expedia como VIP Access y perks de status platino, ni en deacuentos, ni en upgrades, ni early/late check in/out ni en las bebidas de cortesía.

That's a fantastic set of details! You've provided the **pillars of a truly excellent hotel experience**: service, dining, and convenience. The true heart of this hotel is the incredible staff. They were **super attentive** without being intrusive, anticipating our needs before we even had to ask. The **valet service was particularly excellent**—always prompt, professional, and greeting us with a smile, which made coming and going seamless. It's clear that the entire team takes pride in providing top-tier hospitality. We rarely dine exclusively at the hotel restaurant, but the on-site eatery was so magnificent that we ate there two nights in a row! The **food was excellent**, and the atmosphere was lovely. Equally impressive was the bar, which was absolutely **on point**. The bartenders were skilled mixologists who crafted perfect drinks, making it the ideal spot for a nightcap.
