Vacations Close To Mercer County Park

This was exactly what I needed: a relatively inexpensive stay in a safe neighbourhood. I wasn't expecting anything stellar. For transparency, everything needed some deep cleaning and maintenance, though it wasn't filthy. One thing I really wished I had was an outlet by the bed so I could charge my phone. The place was fine for what it was, and the staff were really nice.

Excellent location

The pictures on the website look better than the reality of the property. The location was great, near restaurants, the subway and convenience stores. Breakfast was pretty good and included in my stay. Gratuity was included unfortunately but service was fast and attentive. Overall, it was a decent stay.

Great location, great view

I'm a woman traveling with my daughter. One evening, we had a knock on the door and before we could get to the door, two male staff members tried to get in with a keycard. Good thing I had the swing bar lock in place to stop them. They apologized and thought the room was un-occupied. The whole experience was somewhat nerve wracking.

Room was very spacious for Manhattan and it was nice to have a small kitchen. The bellmen/doormen were excellent, especially Romeo. He’s a charmer and super helpful. Bathroom was small and hook on back of door was poorly patched and would not hold anything and there were not enough towel bars. As other guests have noted, it is very loud outside and it cones through the windows at night, especially fire engines from the next street over. But great location, very walkable and close to public transportation to get all over NYC too. It is Manhattan, so for Manhattan standards it is good place to stay and I would stay there again because of room size and customer service.
