Our room was clean and comfortable, with a mini fridge, microwave, & coffee maker. Parking was very convenient. The community room had large windows to watch the ocean. The inn was conveniently located with easy access to downtown Mendocino. We had a beautiful, peaceful stay.

Good small town place. Good ocean views in the common areas. AI says this is a B&B but that stopped in May and AI is still reading old reviews. The Headlands Park and the Russian Gulch are beautiful.

Cute little place, beautiful views right from the property! I will say my room could have been cleaner. The bathtub looked like there was dried pee on the sides of it and hair left on the bathroom sink and countertops along with hair and crumbs on the bedside table. Kind of gross. Also, welcome sheet states there is a thermostat in your room to adjust the fireplace that is on constantly. I couldn’t find it ANYWHERE. Messaged Agate Cove Inn and never heard back. Not during my stay nor after which is a bit disappointing but not the end of the world.

Insanely amazing view from my deck outside my cottage (Crystal.) It is a huge deck and I hosted a couple cocktail parties. Prior to going on a hike nearby, I asked if they could bring up a couple folding chairs for my guests. When I returned, hotel staff had brought up an entire wicker patio set with cushions and tables! And the cottage itself was just beautiful and very private.

The view alone makes this place awesome. Front desk guy was helpful and pleasant. Room was cute and little gas fireplace was both neat and utilitarian (it did get into the 40s at night and fire place kept room cozy). Little pricey but definitely awesome.

Unfortunately there’s really nowhere to walk. The street is too narrow to walk into the village and there’s no beach access. But the property has stunning views and the cabins are cozy and fully appointed. As long as you don’t mind driving half a mile to town or to other areas, the stay itself is very nice and comfortable.

Greetings! My wife and I had such an amazing stay at Agate Cove Inn! We loved the cozy accommodations but staying in the Obsidian Room put it way over the top!! We also loved the convenience and closeness that the Inn is to town. We will most definitely be back, and will tell everyone who asks all about our awesome stay. My mom and I had an amazing stay here. The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean, and the property is simply beautiful. The buffet breakfast is probably my favorite i've ever had. Definitely try the Chia Pudding if you can, it was delicious!
