My wife and I have stayed here many times. Keya the assistant manager is an absolutely joy, always very courteous and helpful. Great location, each time we visit Memphis this is our preferred location.

The pictures of the hotel posted online are deceiving. The exterior and interiors of the hotel are much more drab than the pictures indicate. There is also razor wire around the fenced in parking area, indicating that the neighborhood is dangerous. Which was not represented in the photos. We asked for an early check-in, which the clerk on duty obliged, but said their credit card machine was down and that the early arrival fee would be an even $20 cash. It kind of felt like the clerk was going to pocket the money as the receipt did not reflect the fee. We checked out at 4am and all of the lights were out in the lobby, which felt like a safety hazard for guests. The room was clean and nicer than the lobby and exterior of the building. The stay was quiet. We were mostly there to sleep after an event, so we weren't on property but for a few hours. It just had a shady vibe to it.

The room was pretty spacious and it was a comfortable night but it seemed kind of humid in the room even with the air conditioner on. Some things seemed to have seen its day, e.g., doorknob seemed a bit jammed, shower water handle was loose. Breakfast was acceptable; there was variety. Overall a decent stay.
