The property was spotless clean, the staff was very helpful, the central location ideal. We loved the breakfast which provided many choices and was delicious. If we were to go back in that part of Scotland, I'd make sure to stay there again! We highly recommend it!

Had a lovely stay at the Townhouse hotel, Melrose. Stayed for 2 nights in a delux double room which was a large room with a sofa area in addition to a large bed. Staff were lovely and helpful. Breakfast had a good array of choices, freshly prepared. We didn’t have dinner in the hotel but the dining room was very busy so food must have been good. Would stay again.

Spacious room, lots of drawers and a wardrobe for storage. It was very quiet during our stay although there were plenty of other guests. Very comfortable bed, and the fan was great in the hot weather. Food was good (breakfast and dinner) and staff were helpful with gluten free options. Welcoming, comfortable hotel and we'll be back for another visit.

Lovely stay. Our room had previously been the old public bar, so was huge! Decor was a little tired and could do with a refresh (especially the bathroom - such a wasted opportunity not to put a bigger bath in there)! The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was delicious - such a treat to have kippers, being on a ban at home for them! Would recommend and definitely stay again!

Great choices for breakfast (many healthy options too.) We ate our evening meal there too which was also very good. Bedroom was quiet and we slept like logs! Very central location on thriving high st with a great range of independent shops, cafes and restaurants. Many walks from this location too. We will use again for sure.
