Great location on Main Street with multiple bar, cafe and food options. Close to historic abbey, Trimontium and historic walking routes (Bishops Way, St Cuthberts Way, Reivers trail) along with the Eilden Hills and Iron Age sites. staff and entire town were very friendly and helpful - recommended

Excellent hotel run by a family

Excellent welcome and booking in. Good sevice in the dining room and bar. All the staff were friendly. The menu was the same every day but the choice was quite good

Nice Find in a Nice Town

Our stop in Melrose was unplanned and at the last minute. Just looking at the hotel from the outside we knew it was going to be good. The staff were very friendly, the food delicious and the rooms very clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay again.
