Staff delightful, nothing too much trouble. Nice and clean, and what you would expect from a 17th century establishment, and comfortable. Parking was secure and easily accessible. You are in the centre of the village. Easy access to other areas of the Scottish Borders. Evening tends to close early so make sure you bring a good book.

A really well run hotel and a pleasure to stay in. We overnighted on our way back from a tour in Scotland and were very impressed it outshone other hotels on our trip and was great value for money. The food offerings were really good too. We will definitely return.
