Weardale Estate is a beautiful place to stay! So peaceful and relaxing. The cottage was very clean, and the hosts were wonderful - accommodating and very friendly. Definitely a place we’d stay again. Would highly recommend!

Tony the owner was an absolute star. Breakfast was perfect and fresh (hot bread and pastries were great). Highly recommend staying here. Lots of things to do/eat within 15 minutes. If I’m ever in the area again, this will be my first pick of the bunch.

We stayed in the Mulberry cottage the night after our wedding and couldn't recommend this accommodation more!! The owners were so flexible with our check in/ check out and us coming back after a late night. The breakfast was phenomenal too! We will be back again for sure!!!

A lovely stay, the private apartment had everything we needed for our two night stay. Although an older interior it was functional, clean and had all that we needed….. including a Wood fire and spa bath . But it was the little extras, robes to wear, slippers and some bath salts made the stay even more special. LOVED the continental breakfast, beautiful warm bread and danishes…. Yum. Would definitely stay again and recommend. Host was lovely and friendly.

Cute little cosy cottage, a little old fashioned but thats its charm :) very cosy in winter! Could use a tiny bit more firewood, if we use this hotel again we will ask about purchasing extra. Thanks! :)

This is a lovely place to unwind and relax with the open fire at night. Fire was difficult to really get going but persistence paid off. Some small kindling would be helpful. Breakfast was excellent and timely. Thank you very much. Recommend The Patch store nearby for coffee too.
