Beautiful old building. Staff are helpful and professional. Enjoyed your stay. One thing annoyed us at breakfast was that we had to ask several times for pastries. They were delivered after we had finished our cooked food. However, the choice of cooked breakfast and quality was excellent and served in a timely manner. Tea and coffee had a good range and choice as well.

We weren’t sure where to stay and lucked out with this beautiful grand hotel. It is showing a little wear here and there, but it is a timeless hotel. Our room was huge with very tall ceilings. The beds were comfy. The whole experience just felt grand. I’d stay again.

The hotel itself is insanely beautiful, I love old buildings, lots of the old architecture is still in place including the staircase. What I wasn’t a massive fan of was my room, we paid $280 for a single night, which is fine, but what isn’t ok is having two single beds pushed together with a mattress on top. That has to be the most uncomfortable sleep I’ve had in years. On top of that, the room was incredibly stuffy as the cooling system seemed to not work, we had the window open but the rooftop at the Imperial was blasting music til 11pm so it’s not really plausible if you plan on actually falling asleep… on an already severely uncomfortable bed. Breakfast was insanely good though, I recommend the eggs royale. 7/10.
