Nice but the rooms are old and outdated same as entrances with broken tiles and all the what was gold tap were and handles that have been cleaned that many times are half silver and a small old double bed needs a revamp

The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and concerned about our overall experience in Melbourne. They offered suggestions for dining, shopping, etc, and made sure we were enjoying our stay at the hotel. Our room was very clean and quiet. It was very easy to walk to the main shopping streets from the hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Comfy bed and lounge. Two TVs level 15 King suite. Love one to watch in bed. Nice spacious breakfast area and good food. Harry's happy hour very nice to sit and $8 drinks..nice food too. ..piano area nice area to sit with relaxed music. Bit of a walk to southbank but near plenty of shops and restaurants.

I've always wanted to stay at the Stamford Plaza since I started working around the area in the early 2000s. It did not disappoint. A little old style Melbourne. It reminded me of hotels we've stayed at in New York and San Francisco. The king suite was well appointed and room service was pretty good.

Husband and I stayed two nights for the NBA/ NBL. Perfect location for what we needed, where we needed to be. Trams on Collins and 2 minute walk down to trams for Rod Laver Arena. Bourke Street Mall not too far either, location was excellent. Service was great, staff very friendly. For us, the room was perfect. We had bedroom suite, exactly the space we needed. Would definitely staycation here again.
