For a single person staying the room was large enough but for a couple it will be tighter. The lighting was excellent, the bed was very comfortable and everything worked well at all times. The hotel itself has a brilliant location and gorgeous, full of jarrah and exquisite ceiling s. I didn't eat there but it served my purpose very well

Clean, comfortable room with modern facilities, in a beautiful heritage building in central Melbourne. Very close to train stations and tram lines. Staff were helpful and attentive. The only negative for me was the noise from the train line, which was enough to disturb my sleep. Would've been perfect if I'd thought to pack ear plugs; perhaps the hotel should supply them in rooms facing the train station.

Lovely hotel with oldie worldie features. Very convenient for the central business district. Our room was perhaps smaller than average, but very clean and comfortable. All felt very safe, needing key cards to use the lift etc. Did have to replace cards, but was only a small inconvenience. Breakfast was very good and being self service, there was plenty of it if required!
