The location was perfect with easy access to trains and trams and in walking distance of lots of shops, restaurants and tourist attractions. Whilst the hotel itself is a little old and dated the location is SO GOOD! Literally a stones throw away from Southern Cross station - grab the Sky Bus and get the airport easily. The Italian restaurant across from the hotel does a great Amatriciana pasta btw. I was busy working so just wanted a comfy bed for the night and definitely got that - it's basic but does the job and the staff were lovely.
