“Un gran resort nuevo con unas muy buenas instalaciones y playa privada. Además al lado existen dos chiringuitos de playa que por apenas nada te dan masajes y puedes cenar en la mismísima playa. Está un poco alejado del pueblo (aunque el pueblo no vale nada), y lo malo es que no tienen para alquilar motos. Gran sitio, mejor que el La Veranda.”

“Place overall is clean compared to other 2 star hotels we’ve stayed at. Interior design is relatively new and modern. There are a few rust spots on water faucets and shower. The knob in the shower even came off on my second day there. Breakfast is included every morning at the coffee shop connected. You get a complimentary cup of coffee (choose from cafe den or cafe sua da). Coffee shop is maintained by the receptionist as well. Just keep in mind this area is not central to all the restaurants...

Puedes hacer de forma gratuita kayak, snorkel, tenis y bicicleta. El desayuno muy bueno. Sin duda muy recomendable, la habitación te permite desconectar absolutamente de todo… Es como un paraíso. Además te llevan de forma gratuita al aeropuerto.”

“We had a wonderful stay at the Melia. The villas are big and spacious and the private pools are a great addition. The food was generally good at the buffets and the beachfront location is very good. The best thing about the Melia though are the staff, they couldn’t be more friendly and helpful. We must mention Khuong from the concierge team who changed the battery in our door lock and Heiu at the pool bar in the Menorca pool who were fantastic and great fun to chat to. “Ziet er netjes uit, aan alle gemakken voorzien en met de app verloopt alle communicatie zeer efficiënt. Helaas hadden we wel eenmaal een kakkerlak in onze kamer. Dit werd goed door het hotel opgepakt en tja, eerlijk gezegd mag je dit ook wel een beetje verwachten op een tropisch eiland. De prijzen voor eten en drinken zijn wel een stuk duurder dan de gemiddelde prijs in Vietnam. Zo krijg je kokosnoot koffie (aanrader) of kokosnootmelk voor 110k Vietnamese Dong per stuk. “Muy limpio, habitaciones espaciosas (bungalow king). Desayuno con una buena variedad de opciones vietnamitas y occidentales. Localización muy tranquila a 15-20 mins en coche del núcleo de Phu Quoc y quizá un poco más alejado de las atracciones tanto al norte como al sur. Playa preciosa y piscina agradable. ”
