The Lodge has retained its charm from the 20’s as a true getaway for an outdoor experience. You can imagine Clark Gable staying there feet up in front of the stone fireplace. The cabins by the river have the same feel. The staff make you welcome and that they are glad you are there.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Delicious food served for breakfast and dinner with fancy teas. Lovely s’mores kits to enjoy around the fire. The room was nice but out neighbors were loud and the deck “overlooking the river” was dusty with lots of webs and two old rocking chairs. The view was actually of a gravel road, a ditch, and blackberry bushes.
