Such a charming property! Staff was very helpful, property very clean and cute. There were several deer on the property just roaming around. Our cottage was adorable! Comfortable bed as well. Highly recommend!

This is a nicely restored vintage motel. The rooms are styled midcentury but with modern appliances and fixtures. They are also clean. I recommend it for anyone looking for a unique travel experience other than the big chain hotels and motels. The location is a little under 1 mile from the Oregon Shakespearian Festival so walkable for some.

Awesome oasis

A sweet little spot right downtown. Definitely a hidden gem. We enjoyed the outdoor salt water pool area and fountain. Loved the gardens and charming cottages. The bed was super comfy. The room (cottage) was quiet, nicely updated and clean. We will be back!!!!

Great rooms! Love the retro vibe. The pool is nice, but for the price of the rooms, it's a bit ridiculous that you have to pay an extra $55 to rent a chair with shade.

Happy with our stay

Just the whole set up of the area was breath taking. Went up for a training at SOU which was conveniently located right across the road from our stay. Was able to go down into Ashland to do a little shopping at the local shops. Will be coming back.

I always get space saving ideas when I stay at The Palm. The rooms are cute, small but cozy with everything you need for an overnight stay. The heavy glass sliding shower door is an ingenious design and I especially appreciate the dedicated (generally) parking spaces. Love the pollinator garden idea. This place is not for the claustrophobic, but if all you need is a bed and a shower it's just fine.

The room was very clean, something as a former maid I always look for. Staff was very helpful. We loved the soaps and staff was great about finding which particular soap brand used and even a store location for us. Motel was quiet at night and the beds were very comfortable. Kitchenette was perfect for our needs, we didn't plan to cook any meals but morning tea and coffee were much appreciated. The atmosphere was the best, quirky, retro, but not weirdly so, with peaceful colors and beautiful artwork. The patio area is stunning, a work of art. In all, if we come back to Ashland for more Shakespeare Festival fun the PALM will be our first choice for lodging! Oh, and seeing a deer calmly grazing on the wildflowers added to the fun!

Lovely, quaint motel, that has been well-maintained and is very clean. Good location, can walk to downtown Ashland, but about a mile. The only frustration I had was with a mildly unhelpful person at the reception desk. I also needed to charge my Tesla but was told the Tesla charger was only for a particular cottage that I wasn’t staying in. Access to a level 3 charger but it was in use almost the entire evening. A little frustrating.

I loved the sweet, local touches in regards to the in-room coffee and bedside chocolates. Our beds in room 3 were very comfortable, the decor was fantastic, and the retro kitchen appliances were fun & perfectly functional. Also, drinking my morning coffee on the beautiful patio was a delightful way to start my day!
