The room was lovely, the people were great, housekeeping was very helpful. We were celebrating our 24th wedding anniversary and they put us in the best room in the house on the 9th floor. We spent part of our honeymoon there, so it was great to return and have a very relaxing stay. I highly recommend.

The hotel is very conveniently located for the theaters and downtown. It offers secure, off-street parking. The rooms aren't serviced every day and the shower was very small. There was a $5.00 per person breakfast that is adequate and you need to obtain a voucher.

The room was clean, beds comfortable, and staff friendly. The hotel is charming, and you couldn't ask for a better location -especially since we were seeing a performance at OCT, just a block away. We did breakfast, and while it was worth the $5 price tag, don't expect to be wowed. Pick up some coffee, toast and fruit and plan on brunch somewhere later.

This historic hotel feels wonderfully old school, with high ceilings, great views, and a special vibe. Everything works, including the outstanding restaurant attached, Larks. The bed felt luxurious. The tv is not smart - in fact , infuriatingly dumb - one doesn’t come to Ashland to stream Netflix. We had a corner room with brilliant light coming through very tall windows. The window was rather small by modern standards but lacked nothing. I assume they’re having some labor shortages because housekeeping was not available during our 2 night/3 day stay. This was not a problem though. So many fun restaurants and shops nearby, and of course the Shakespeare festival going on within a 5 minute walk.
