This hotel has one of the best rooftop bar in medellin but this also can be a little bit annoying for the people stay in the floor downstairs which is our case, besides that the experience and the place was excellent

Great location in the center of Provenza. Room was great & the rooftop restaurant came in handy & has an amazing view. The breakfast included was 10/10. Only thing is the WiFi was not working well, so if you’re needing WiFi this might not be the place. Other than that, loved & enjoyed my stay.

Front desk staff is excellent they really care for you to have the best experience. The breakfast is really good and the bar is ok, expensive drinks but good, food in the bar is also good. Is a little bit noisy but rooms are huge.

The location is great. The breakfast is really good. The staff are helpful. The rooms are very comfortable. The only thing we didnt like was the noise. Depending on where your room is, you could hear either the noise from the rooftop, or the noise from the road.

*STAY AWAY from Somo Beats Medellin

We stayed 2 nights, each morning we were awoken by the staff. In the evening the bass from the DJ was so strong it permitted the rooms. We were not offered any resolution, we asked to speak to a manager, we waited an hour, no manager showed up and then came back 4 hrs later still no manager. It was the worst service I have ever experienced when traveling. They charged us for 6 nights even though we only stayed 2…. It’s in between a ripoff and extortion.

We were put on the 9th floor- the 10th is the club. Soooo loud!!! The blinds didn’t work and the AC was not strong to start but it would only run when we were in the room so it would be really hot when you arrive. Could not go to rooftop bar because of private event. We asked to switch rooms and they agreed. We came down with our stuff and then were told, nope. No other room. Sorry. At 11pm. We ended up at the wonderful Click Clack!! Go there. So good!!!

Horrible. Horrible service. Very strict rules and policies. Not the type of service you need when on vacation. Vacation turns to work very fast with this behavior. Which it did at 2am scrambling to find another hotel to stay.

Overall I liked the place, beautiful room, great breakfast, and good location. I really wanted to leave 5 stars, but on the 2nd day one of the hotel cleaning staff stole food from our room while housekeeping. As a woman traveling with valuables, I had set up my own little security camera in my room. When I was away and the cleaning was done by the staff, one of the women looked through my items and took food (video evidence). When I presented this to the front desk, they had no apologies and said “maybe she had a diet and needed to eat” and “she thought it was trash”, even after I showed video and audio proof that showed that she knew fully well that she was stealing. While I’m not upset that it was just food taken, but rather a concern of privacy. The next day, they reached out to me via WhatsApp to apologize for the situation which was appreciated, but I wouldn’t feel safe leaving my belongings behind.

I've never given a 1 star review in my entire life because i have never felt the need to bash a company even when they have performed badly. However this 1 star review was 100% earned by the manager Camilo Barco. This was my third stay, over 4 years, as a returning client of this hotel. I booked 7 nights straight. I was comfortably settled in my room for 2 days and on the third day, the manager Camilo Barco decided to make an executive decision to pull me out of my room and transfer me to the 9th floor where the music from the rooftop bar flows directly into the room. Camilo, you didn't have to do that, to your loyal, returning guest. I guess he was worried that other guest might leave a 1 star review if placed on the 9th floor and hoped that i wouldn't. Well, Camilo, you definitely earned this 1 star review for your hotel. To the Owners: Keep an eye on this manager Camilo Barco. If he continues to make decisions that earn you 1 star reviews, i would consider demoting him or replacing him. To the front desk and house keeping: Thank you very much for being competent and taking care of me while i stayed at your hotel. Just know that your manager Camilo Barco treated one your clients that is a good tipper, badly. Unfortunately, I wont be coming back. Sorry if this last tip makes your job harder, but all of this was brought on by the manager Camilo Barco. Potential guests planning on giving this place a try, Stay away from floor 2, 9 and 10.
