This is the best hotel in medellin everything you expect from a boutique hotel. Victor tge manager is amazing and juana who checked me in was incredible. The hotel facilites and rooms are spacious and well appointed. I will for sure stay there every time i go.

From the staff to the rooms everything was amazing! The staff were very helpful in giving amazing tips about places to go and really get a good perspective on the city and all its wonders! The food at the restaurant was spectacular and the views and privacy was what made this experience place shine! Huge shoutout to Juan our server he had a great attitude and made our stay even more memorable.

Love this hotel. It beautiful and the room was really nice. It is in a great area with plenty of restaurants. The only downside is that they don’t have a gym, but that’s ok because the staff, location and the design of the hotel made up for it. Highly recommend this hotel and I will stay here again.

Excellent hotel if you want to be close to the nightlife in the city in an upscale and safe property. Amazing and accommodating staff. Very clean and comfortable rooms with a beautiful rooftop bar to view the city lights. My wife and I stay here every time we are in Medellin and it never disappoints.

El Zarzo staff is the greatest part of the hotel. Extremely attentive, friendly, and informative. Rooftop bar was the highlight for us great drinks and vibes. Down side rooms are smaller then other rooms you can find for this price and the bed was on the firm side. Also while we were there(8/23/25) they are working on expanding so they had construction going on and they like to start at 7am and if your a light sleeper you can hear music/ traffic all night till 3am.

We just finished a wonderful stay at the El Zarzo. We can't say enough good things about the warm and friendly staff who sincerely wanted to make our stay as enjoyable as possible (special thanks to Felipe at the front desk, Elisabeth at the hotel restaurant (and rooftop bar), and the hotel manager who helped us with our question. Food tip: try the tiny hamburger with the bacon, it's super tasty!
