We reserved 2 queen bedroom with city view and when we got there they had a king bed room with wrong view and we had to upgrade for a 2 queen with view which I think was very shady. We paid and reversed for transportation to the train station and they tried to charge us again even though we already paid. The hotel is good and we have stayed there before but I think they are adopting shady business practices.

Yes, The room was very nice but 4 times the toilet seat broke in 1 day. I told them they need to fix this but they would make a temporary fixture. The hotel staff was excellent, but the Hotel standard has go down, I stayed here 2 years back , everything was excellent, but this time around lots of issues. When i would call the operator to connect me to t he reception she would say ' we are not suppose to connect guest to the reception and leave a message with us'. When i did that , no one would call back for hrs. There were a lot of other issues . we had to change room due to flooding in the bathroom, and that too not until the 24 hrs. I give 2 stars cause the housekeeping and room service was very good and that fact when they moved us to a different room the view was good.

Quality of service has gone down a lot . Specially for Fairmont gold they r giving normal room and elevator has to be changed 3 times . Service is now horrible. No extra water or pillow given after repeated request . Room service is now horrible . Last 5 years we stay but this time is the last stay .
