Excellent stay at the Frederick Stearns hotel in Detroit. Beautiful renovation with free parking. Large suite style room and bathroom. Very close to Riverfront and the downtown.

For a couple of nights' stay, the room was okay. It is a bit small for two people. Could use better cleaning. Overall, a good hotel. Not really walkable to downtown.

The hotel sits on a corner. Please be aware that even when you’re checking in dont leave the car parked in front you’ll get a ticket. They give you no time to unpack the car.

Ibwas thoroughly impressed with the rehab of a former Fire Station Headquarters! The feeling was unique and nostalgic. I wish they would install a soap r towels racks inside of the shower. I had no place to hold my soap or towel while bathing. I hive the Hotel a 9.5 !

Staff was great and room clean. Overall great experience. The only concern is the 4 PM check in time. There is no grace period. We stayed in a luxury corner suite and did not get the room until exactly 4 PM in my opinion at 4 PM. Check-in is late usually 3 PM is more acceptable.
