Super nice, quiet place. The room was nice and well decorated and the sheets were super soft. They even give you a black washcloth for makeup and a folder with some pamphlets for local places inside, both of which were really thoughtful. Everyone I talked to was friendly. There is a well stocked fridge with drinks you can buy and some snacks and food as well. There is a nice lobby/lounge to chill in or have breakfast in. It's also right next door to a very nice gas station!

We stayed here several times for just a 1 night stay, on our travels. The owners live on site. This is the 2nd year for the new owners, I think. It’s clean, quiet, and comfortable. There is a gas station next door that has fabulous fried chicken.

The property was very clean. Easy access from interstate. Water tasted good. Bed was pretty comfortable. Quiet. Owner was nice. Breakfast was lacking—no milk or fresh coffee. There was a variety of fresh fruit, but mostly lots of high sugar /carb options. Overall an enjoyable experience, though.

Dawson Inn was cozy and a really nice place to stay. The manager was very nice and pleasant to talk to. The Breakfast wasn't the usual "Holiday Inn" type breakfast but it was all we needed. The room was clean and comfortable. The only issue was the directions given by Google Maps. It took us off on the wrong exit and into the backwoods country on a tiny narrow road and our destination was a wooded lot. I'm glad we weren't traveling at night - we might not have seen some of the hairpin turns. We turned around and when we got back to a small town we called Dawson Inn from a church parking lot. the manager gave us the correct directions and said she has been requesting for Google Maps to change this for a long time without any results! Call ahead and get directions directly from Dawson Inn and you will have a Wonderful Stay!

Though the building and the decor are older, this little slice of tranquility had the most important element in a hotel/motel—CLEANLINESS!!!!!!! The unit and all public areas were immaculate!! Clean! Clean! Clean! And with pride. The staff there had tastefully made this little hotel absolutely charming with its quirkiness. For example, breakfast was the basics—yogurt, fruit, bread, and breakfast bars. No problem. If I want Waffle House, I will go there. However, every inch of this place was spotless. The breakfast area was like an operating room. It had a great and simple collection. It was delightful. The staff even provided snacks readily available, modestly priced, and paid for with the honor system. A quaint feature that probably exists in few places. I didn’t want to leave. In fact, I would like to live there. A little out of the way if you are visiting the National Park, but so worth the drive. Best little hotel experience I have ever had.
