Love McCook. Wish we could have stayed longer and come at a different time when more opportunities were available. Fortunately some restaurants had just opened up but other events were cancelled to to Coronavirus. Precious town, precious people.
The only thing about McCook is that the water can be pretty harsh, I would reccomend not showering in the hotel if possible if you have colored hair or sensitive skin.

A nice, friendly small town.
the room was very quiet no doors banging. no traffic sounds.
McCook is a smaller community. Those people that are not used to small towns may did it a bit frustrating. Very nice and friendly folks.
