Live in San Antonio TX, When we travel to the Valley, there is only one hotel we stay, and that is the Doubletree, McAllen, TX. I can work from my room while my wife shops at the mall near by. We’re able to drive to our favorite restaurants near by and have great drinks at the bar.

The room/hotel was neglected in an understatement. The elevator door would not open on our floor. The Carpet was stained disgusting, the bathroom felt dirty, and the hot water took forever. The bed was comfortable, and the staff was friendly or it would have been a 1 star.

Room was stocked, but wish they had a local channel line-up. We got the double room suite, very spacious, but i would recommend they add atleast a trash can to every room. The room only had one trash 🗑 can in the whole suite. Again provide local tv station line-up available.

The hotel has really good potential the rooms were kind of dusty. I had to be switched to another room because the TV in the master bedroom was broken. However, they did accommodate me and switch me with awesome customer service. The hotel was very nice in general. Just had a musky smell in the rooms.
