We loved the hotel. The view was amazing. There’s a nice little coffee shop in the lobby. The food we had in the restaurant was good and the drinks at the rooftop bar made for a great place to watch the sunset.

This Holiday Inn exceeded our expectations as compared to others. Room was spacious, exceptionally clean, bed was comfortable, housekeeping were excellent. Only suggestions are that it would be nice to have a small mini fridge to keep refreshments cold. Wifi worked well but we had to sign in every day & Apple phone was a bit difficult to sign in initially. * Buffet was only on weekends * Noise from bands is noticeable but didn’t bother us

The ocean view from the room was the highlight. Otherwise my husband & I had concerns with the pigeon excrement in and around the pool area, so I was hesitant to use the pool. The staff seemed indifferent at times but the cleaning staff seemed attentive. The rooms look well used could use an upgrade.

Let me start off by saying that Mazatlan is my favorite place to go on vacation. We visit a few times a year and always choose a different hotel for the experience. This hotel is in a great location, however, the customer service is not great. Upon arrival, the lady that helped us was bitter because I always prepay for my room and she wasn't able to upsell or have me add to our stay. As soon as she saw I prepaid, it was an unpleasant attitude towards us the entire time. We didn't even receive towels while we were there. The coffee wasn't refilled in our room and when we went downstairs to ask for a packet of salt we were denied. It was in a way where this lady made us feel like we were horrible people for asking for salt. I have never been treated so poorly. She was very condescending. I asked for towels and they never showed so we went and bought our own. We got stuck in the elevator because she never told us how to use our room key for the elevator and we weren't the only ones. Then on a different day the elevator broke down and she had an "oh well" kind of attitude. Luckily for us that we don't let things like that ruin our vacation. We still had a great time, but not at the hotel at all. Never again.

Overall pleased with the hotel. Rooms were very nice and clean, and the view was spectacular. Great location. Overall great service. My only complaint is that they were stingy with water and coffee. There were nice water dispensers in the lobby, but they filled them only once in the morning and by noon they were empty, and only 2 small bottles brought to the room per day. No coffee available in the lobby. Maybe this is the way that hotels are in Mexico, if which is the case I would award 5 stars due to the coffee, but the water issue should be rectified. If these things would not bother someone I would suggest this hotel.
