We travelled to this resort early July from Alberta, Canada. The resort was quiet and clean, and the food was excellent. El Cid Marina was our first experience with El Cid resorts. We walked through the other El Cids in Mazatlan, but lived the quiet vibe from the Marina resort. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

From our room the unique Beach view ,gardens pretty well maintained , 4-5 different times been here ,on different years , well recommended , staff very friendly ,excellent service on restaurants , you will not be disappointed . My family of 4 really enjoyed our stay. The property was clean and our room was nice and accommodating. The buffet was delicious and we enjoyed being able to order from the menu if we wanted something different. All of the staff were very nice and helpful. Hugo and Guillermo very always very nice and attentive at breakfast and lunch. Fatima was a lot of help at checking in and making dinner reservations. She was there nearly everyday during our stay and always asked if we needed anything. Room service was great the few times we ordered. The wifi worked very well. We booked all inclusive elite and I definitely recommend that package. All of the dinner reservations we booked was amazing. Our favorite was La Terraza. We enjoyed the sister hotels but they were usually very busy. There are several gift shops at El Cid El Moro.

Our room had a kitchen and balcony and looked over the harbour. The view was amazing. The pool that we used the most was close, with a swim up bar and restaurant, surrounded by palm trees and beautiful flowers and you could see the masts of the ships in the harbour. The restaurant closest to us had a different ethnic or theme of buffet each night such as BBQ, Mexican, Italian, and Asian with a live keyboardist . The food was great! Each night we would look over the harbour and watch the sunset while eating. The shuttle boat provided excellent regular service taking us to and from the beach which was my favourite spot with the sand, shaded lounge chairs and warm ocean. The resort provided toys for the kids to play with on the beach and the all inclusive restaurant and drinks were also on the beach. The premises and staff were perfect; warm and inviting with excellent service.

For an all inclusive, the food was better than I anticipated. The dinner buffet price as advertised seemed excessive and the service was lacking. The food was better as I mentioned and everybody was nice. The restaurant was slow as can be expected for this time of year but the service was not as good as it could have been.

El buffet es muy bueno, el servicio de comida y bebidas en las albercas también muy bueno. Limpieza excelente e instalaciones en muy buen estado. El único detalle es en la playa, el servicio es muy malo, prácticamente está condicionado a la compra de un termo. Regresaría sin dudas, pero deberían mejorar el servicio en la playa.

Lo que les falta y mucho, es que se batalla con las personas minusválidas. El transporte no cuenta con rampas ni nada para poder transportarlas y las albercas no tienen nada para este tipo de personas. Para personas normales sin problema de ese tío está excelente

Me sorprendio tenia mucho tiempo sin llegar al Hotel; y las instalaciones estan muy bien conservadas, el personal nos atendio excelente, eramos un grupo grande y complicado con varios niños; sobre todo el mesero DAVID del restaurante LA MARINA, quien nos tuvo mucha pasiencia y nos dio excelente servicio; al igual queel bar tender de la alberca templada DAVID, quien atendio a todos los niños del grupo simpre de buen humor; el personal de limpieza de la habitacion 120 LUPITA; y de las areas comunes VANESSA, gracias por sus atenciones!!!
