Vacations Close To Mayo Clinic Hospital

Nice clean property with an inviting staff. We were able to do laundry in our room and the room had a kitchenette. The room was also clean. 15 minutes from airport.

It is an older hotel that needs some maintenance updates. The room has a musty smell immediately when walking in from the AC ducts and I noticed the smart thermometer unit had the "change filter" sign on. The $35 resort fee is high for what you get so the fees feel out of sync with the quality and type of amenities. The $15 bar credit is not useful if you don't plan to use it. There was no coffee maker in the room which would be a more needed amenity, or the option of a coupon for a free coffee at Cartel Cafe downstairs which has great coffee would make more sense.

The room was comfortable and clean. Hotel did not have "hotel parking", had to use adjacent paid parking lot.

Will stay again

There was some kind of maintenance issue that caused check-in to be delayed for an hour or more for several parties, including me. No specifics were given nor was any approximate time for when our rooms would be ready. The front desk clerk did her best to compensate for the delay by giving parties free parking. I did not drive, so the best she could do was to offer a discount on a future stay.
