Hotel is about 6 min walk to the station. Close to the 2 tourist streets, shrine, castle. Pretty well can walk to all the main tourist attractions

Perfect location for visiting Matsumoto. Close to the station and the Castle. Seems its right in the midst of town surrounded by a variety of dining options. Service is top notch. Staff is very friendly too!

The hotel is located 5 minutes walk from the train station and is located across the road from a food street with lots of restaurants. 15 minute walk to the castle. Clean hotel.

We had a great stay at this hotel. Rooms are very spacious, clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Parking direct at the hotel. All places we visited (including the castle) are easy walkable direct from the hotel.

Enjoyed my stay

Helpful staff, took a little explanation, but I managed to make a local phone call at the desk. Clean and comfortable rooms, I liked the mini-desk in my room, which is very useful. Breakfast is sufficient and have a good variety.

We stayed and parked our car at the hotel, car space is first come first served. We enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The room is spacious and comfortable, the hotel is family friendly too. Would hope there are more laundry machines as all machines are either occupied or locked with unpicked up laundry. We had buffet breakfast at the hotel too, the restaurant environment was nice, food was decent.

My husband and I stayed at the Richmond hotel for two nights. It’s in a great location, and the rooms were reasonably priced and clean. The staff were really kind, and helped organise luggage forwarding to our next hotel. Our only bugbear was that we could hear other people on the floor - they were pretty loud. It would be great to have had a little more sound proofing.
