I booked a hotel through Expedia, but when I arrived, the hotel staff said there was no reservation under my name. I showed them my confirmation email, but they claimed the hotel was fully booked and that Expedia had made a mistake.
It wasn’t just me — two other customers who had also booked through Expedia and Agoda faced the same issue. The hotel staff behaved aggressively toward me, and one of the other guests even had to call the police. Even after the police arrived, none of us were given rooms. The hotel staff kept blaming Expedia for the mistake.
This experience was extremely stressful and disappointing. I hope Expedia investigates this issue seriously and ensures such incidents don’t happen to other customers.
