Excellent location.

This is the best location to see Matera. You are close to the sights and and lots of restaurants to go to. The staff is very good and accommodating, plus the parking is a block away. The breakfast is plentiful and the view from the terrace amazing!!!

A great boutique hotel with the greatest views of the city and surrounding countryside. Staff is fantastic and the hotel is easy walking distance to all attractions and restaurants. Rooms are all nice but I recommend staying in one of the rooms located in ‘the Cave’. A most memorable experience that I will not forget! Breakfast was very good and having drinks served out on the patio was fantastic. You will not regret booking Il Belvedere!

Fabulous hotel

Our room was amazing. Huge room with our own little private patio. The whole hotel was beautiful. And the staff are so helpful. The terrace had spectacular views.

The view from the terrace onto the Sassi is fantastic. Breakfast is also very good. Our room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. The one thing that topped all of the above was the friendly and efficient service of the staff. They were super friendly and very helpful!
