We stayed there for almost a week. From entering the property until check out everything worked really well. The staff is super friendly and helpful with 24*7 support available. The location is good as well, with direct bus every 20 min. For the breakfast one can order 1 freshly made dish and 2 drinks along with the buffet for free, its flavourful and fulfilling. I would definitely recomment this place :)

Beautiful property, beautiful suite. Staff are helpful communicative and used Whats App which was easy. Location is tricky to get to from Sorrento. Taxi is very expensive compared to big cities (€46 by the meter), so we used the public transit bus (€2, comes every 20min) when we did not have our luggage. Restaurant on site, Essenza, is a hidden gem. Pasquale (restaurant server) and Rovatiana (hotel reception) elevated our experience.

Such a beautiful boutique hotel. The pool area, bar and restaurant were amazing. The breakfast that was included was very good. We had dinner at the restaurant twice and it was delicious. The service was great. Rovatiana was very helpful Pascal was a great waiter his dinner suggestions were spot on Yuri makes great cocktails, ask him about the Tiramisu espresso martini ( but only have one, speaking from experience LOL)

The property is beautiful and very well maintained. The staff is so friendly and helpful. I made the mistake of not planning transportation to Rome, the front desk made all the arrangements for us. The had a beautiful view of the sunset every evening. Pasquale the host/waiter for the Melrose Bistrot restaurant took such good care of us every night for dinner. He made us feel like family, so welcoming.

A most pleasant stay in a family owned property. Everyone was so welcoming and attentive. The property had views of the water, beautiful gardens & hiking trails. A quiet retreat outside the hustle of the city but The convenience of a 10 minute bus ride to downtown Sorrento. Buses ran every 20 minutes. Wish we could have stayed longer!

MelRose is such a wonderful escape from the hustle and bustle of Sorrento. It was a peaceful, beautiful oasis to come back to each day. The staff is incredibly helpful and welcoming - the dinning crew was exceptional. Perfect distance from Sorrento center and able to access anywhere easily - having a car was very useful.

We had a wonderful stay! If you’re looking for a clean, quiet, easy to access stay that’s close to the heart of the main downtown do not hesitate. The grounds are stunning and the staff was amazing and helpful. Wish we could stay longer!

We stayed here and right at arrival the hotel staff made us feel not only welcome, but excited for our stay. They were extremely accompanying and even offered free shuttle service to their partnering restaurants that were delicious. I can not say enough great things about the hospitality here.
