We stayed in an interconnecting room as a family of four travelers. Staff are super welcoming and very attentive to ensure we enjoyed our stay. I found the property a little run down, especially in the bathroom. But I’ll say it’s quite normal as it’s not a high end hotel. The pool was a little disappointing as it’s very small and because it’s a retreat, there’s nothing much to offer. One thing I found unusual are the refilled body wash and lotions in ceramic jars - I could never use that and found unhygienic. One thing I liked about this retreat was the water stations. Clean drinking water was easily accessible.

A peaceful and serene oasis

Mayura is located away from the central Ubud area but still within walking distance to cafes, restaurants and a great laundromat! The hotel staff were incredibly accommodating, helpful and welcoming - every day! Room amenities were adequately provided and the pillows were excellent! Overall a really lovely hotel which I would recommend to friends and family.

The staff were great, the rooms were clean. The hotel is a bit far from central but still pleasant if you have a scooter and also use GRAB to order in any drinks or food. The hotel owner/staff were kind enough to treat me with complimentary dessert selection one evening when the internet was down. Thanks!

We had a great vacation during our stay. The staff was nice and the food in the restaurant was good. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-equipped. The bed was comfortable. The hotel is green, so expect to refill your room water bottles and do not expect bright white towels, which was ok for us. They offered a complimentary daily drop off and pick up to downtown Ubud. As well as some tour options. We liked the hotel and will come back.

Staff incredibly helpful and kind. Breakfast was very adequate with additional options that needed to be ordered at no cost. Main issue was location. It’s great if u plan to use as a place to rest and have booked tours etc…as it’s not walkable to anything useful. That was not an issue for us. Ubud traffic is horrendous so getting to this place from the city centre can be a challenge.

We had a wonderful reception and the team there was always willing to help. Amazing service. Our room was wonderful with plenty of space. We enjoyed the breakfast overlooking the river below and loved the ability to choose some local dishes. We did feel that the hotel was a bit run down and the cost of the room was on the high side, however the food was very good and priced accordingly. The message at the spa however was not worth it sadly. Whilst we did receive a discount after voicing our disappointment this is definitely an area that does not live up to reputation. There is not a lot around the area, but the free shuttle to Ubud was a welcome addition.

Family with teens loved our stay

We stayed for two nights and wish we had a couple of more days to stay. This hotel is so far from all the noise and chaos and surrounded by beauty. The free breakfasts are delicious and the cute little restaurant makes wonderful food. If you have time you can book cooking class, rooftop yoga, massages and woodworking workshop at great prices. Wonderful service. We all enjoyed our stay

En oas i vacker miljö

Helt fantastiskt ställe, som en oas i naturen! Hufsat Nära till Ubud, kanske 30 minuters promenad. Personalen var otroligt trevliga och tillmötesgående! Vårt rum var 5 steg från poolen, allt inom räckhåll. Underbart! Fint rymligt rum, allt fräscht och bekvämt. Det enda som kunde förbättras var vissa rätter i restaurangen, samt vinet. Annars jättebra!
