Family friendly retreat
We had a great stay. The position of the park is walking distance to cafes, bakery, pub and shops.
The park was well maintained with the staff very friendly. We loved sitting on the verandah of our cabin with the lawn out the front and the creek just in front of that. We were able to sit on our chairs in the water to cool off and kids were able to float on tubes going with the flow. There was plenty of shade and fire pits were available for the colder evenings.
There were many age groups staying but the park was very quiet
The Caravan Park in Marysville has a perfect setting along the river. It was burnt to the ground at the occasion of the 2009 bushfires and has been very nicely rebuilt with very good amenities, grassy tent spots and comfortable cabins.
Its a short stroll from here to the small but very popular town of Marysville and their famous cafes and good options for lunch or dinner.
Highly recommended, will definitively stay here again.

its ok for a very short stay, we personally would stay for 1 night only if we go again
No housekeeping during our 2- days stay. Understand it is weekly, probably due to the small town. Cleanliness is therefore average only. Very cosy experience to stay in cottage fronting a small river stream. Downside is Wifi signal is real bad!
The two-bedroom cabins are a good option for comfortable accommodation close to Lake Mountain. The park has good facilities, a playground and is walking distance to the centre of Marysville. The cabin was clean and offered enough space and bedding for four people without all being in one room and tripping over each other, which was our experience in other places in Marysville for a similar cost. We had some trouble getting the wi-fi to work and the bathroom was on the small side, but the air conditioning was effective, the water was hot and the atmosphere around the park was pleasant.
parklands with creek ,camp fires, great alpine feel
visited Steavensons Falls at night (well lit),the absolutely must see Brunos Sculpture Garden (what a magnficent achievement),the tasty lolly shop, the Lookout at sunset for some great photos.we had 2 nights& 1full day -need longer/ missed out on Lake Mountain but next time.Lovely meal at Duck Inn.
We stayed in the Cottage and really enjoyed the peaceful park, close to the river and also everything that the town has to offer. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Lucky we bought along bug spray as we had to kill 4 or 5 spiders upon entering our room. The bed sheets had stains on them. The room weren't very clean. And the couch and bed were horribly uncomfortable.
We had business in Marysville and booked this a couple of days before. The best part is the grassy area beside the river in front of the cabin, a great spot to relax.
Beautifully positioned with stream outside cabin. ..very relaxing.

Lovely area to stay in, site is well spaced very quite at night. Cabins are small more like a caravan, bathroom is tiny couldn't stay more than a couple of days because of space.
Friendly staff and great little playground only a short walk to shops and food places. 20 mins from snow.
