The staff all around was super helpful. We loved staying here and highly recommend it. We requested an airport transfer and that was really helpful. Wish we could be enjoying it longer but we had a late arrival and early checkout due to an activity we had booked. We would love to come back and really enjoy this beautiful road. The dinner we had was really delicious. Thanks so much for a memorable experience.

The privilege to stay in a beautifully maintained riad is truly enhanced by the generosity and hospitality of the staff. These are wonderful people who expertly prepare traditional food and beverages, care for the guest rooms, maintain the gardens, pool and hot tub, and wait tables. In addition to this, when asked, they offer what is proven to be excellent recommendations for how to spend your time within the city and surrounding areas. Comfortable as you will be, they will definitely take care of you.

The staff at this hotel were amazing! They were super friendly and helpful! Nawal and Toufeek (sp?) were especially superb and we were very grateful for their help! The room was good and the bed was comfortable. It was a little too firm for my wife, so they brought a mattress topper and that solved the issue and she slept great after that. The place is super centrally located, yet quiet, so that was nice. They do need to replace their towels, as many of them were a bit worn, but otherwise, this was a great choice.

I’ve been fortunate enough to stay at some of the best hotels around the world and I can honestly say that none of them are more charming and welcoming than Riad Kaiss. The perfect location, gorgeous antique fixtures and fittings, the best staff, a pool and a rooftop to watch the sunset over the medina, literally what more could you want. I hope this will not be my last stay.

Six of us spent a week here in July. I suspect that many riad’s are equally characteristic. What I think may set this one apart is the very thoughtful, friendly and attentive service. Even on our last morning, when we departed extremely early before the kitchen opened, they packed some breakfast items in a lovely Moroccan style bag for us to take with us. It was not requested or expected but extremely considerate. The Riad is conveniently located, walking distance to all Medina attractions. It is designed in a very authentic Moroccan style throughout, including the charming rooms with enough space to move about, seating, small fridge and plenty of storage. The central open space where you can relax is a calming space with lots of shade, vegetation and bird song. The rooftop has many small areas to sit and escape for sun or shade. The rooftop pool is small like many Riads, but perfect for cooling off after a hot afternoon walking Marrakech. The included traditional breakfast was wonderful, had many sweet and savory elements to it, and will be missed. Coffee and tea were offered throughout our stay at no additional cost. Highly recommended.

Check on construction before you book! Constant drilling, sawing, and hammering seriously undermined our stay. A riad is meant to be tranquil. They have a nice little interior garden with chriping birds where meals are served. We only had breakfast there the first day, because of the construction noise. They proudly told us they were removating the adjacent building, putting in nine new rooms. Great for them and for future guests, but not for current guests. We were in top floor suite with beautiful little patio area but, again, napping on the covered day bed was not possible thanks to the noise. Staff were very friendly and tried to be helpful, but they need to work on internal communication. Air con, phone, and internet in the suite were all wonky. They kept saying they would be fixed, but they never were.

Amazing Stay, would recommend to anyone looking to experience a traditional moroccan escape! The riad was in the perfect location, walking distance to the markets, food and local sites. The room was very clean, even had complimentary hot drinks! What really made the trip was the staff. They went above and beyond to make our stay extra special, very friendly and shared their local expertise! Will be returning in the future for sure!
