Very friendly staff. The food was good and the evening entertainment was good fun. I was disappointed at the golf club though. Whilst the course itself was a reasonable challenge, the pro shop was poorly stocked with little size options other than small and ladies. The club's I hired were also not premium as advertised, instead they were a mixed bag from different brands and ladies clubs. Plus, they were all at least 15 years old.

Hotel was good overall. Pools are great. Rooms are acceptable, but the water pressure/temperature varies in the shower. Food is not very well labelled for those who have dietary requirements. Limited selection of beers/wines in the bars.

Overall an excellent choice for a ‘fly & flop’ location. Good quality all inclusive. Very spacious bedroom (golf course view) with two main pools and the usual selection of hotel activities run by the local team if you want to take part. However no pressure if you don’t want to get involved. A dedicated juice bar which was a nice touch. The golf course ( and gym & spa) is a short shuttle bus ride away . The golf course is totally flat and offers gererously wide fairways with small well kept greens. A pleasant round although not the most challenging. The spa was very expensive for treatments so we didn’t try it. The hotel offers a free shuttle bus to and from the city up to about 6:30pm. Otherwise Bolt & Iner work here for about £8 per journey . The buffet food was excellent choices every day. My wife is vegetarian and sometimes has limited choice when we go away. That was not the case here. Loads of options for both of us. Although 2 meals in Thea La carte restaurants were included, we didn’t see the point as the menus were Mediterranean or Italian and these option were available at the buffet. Only 2 minor complaints. When an emergency evacuation alarm sounded at 7:30 in the morning, there were no staff on hand to direct people to an evacuation point. Guests just wandered around the pool areas or went to reception where staff seemed to have no knowledge of what was going on. Secondly, the WiFi was poor in all areas except the reception building,

Excellent food, staff, room and heated pool. Limited evening entertainment and drinks not always the same standard. A lot of building work on the complex but not really affecting the main hotel. A very nice place to stay with good facilities

The hotel is located outside Marrakech in a quiet area. They offer excellent transportation into town which is a wonderful service. The cleanliness of the hotel is ok however there is room for huge improvement. Our shower leaked completely throughout the bathroom floor. The staff were kindly offered to put down extra towel to block the water. The vanity mirror kept falling apart and the curtains in the room had very large stains all over them. Other clients we met that were in other buildings had horrible sewer smells in the rooms. The hotel offers a huge buffet and bbq area that provides dining to a huge volume of clients. Trust me there is food choices for everyone, However, this resorts needs to relook at the self service food handling, because currently the sanitation is seriously lacking. There needs to be far more hand sanitizing stations, notices to wash hands. Also, the amount of clients handling bread and pastry with their hands should not be tolerated. There should be dedicated hostess attending to each station, making sure new plates are used each time a client is at the buffet. Also, we watch to see how often the rotation of serving tongs took place not controlled at all. This is a huge standard in any buffet serving to the masses, it prevents cross contamination. I hope the resort will look at this comment and put in some enhancements to give the customer confidence when dining at the resort.

A lovely stay and everything we needed. Bit of an unpleasant first impression with security guard deciding whether he would let us in - travelling with my 16 year old and had confirmation that he was welcome but that information apparently never reached the gate. Main Property is beautiful but there is large parts of the hotel grounds which seems to be a building site/abandoned. I see now why they offer to drive you to gym/spa/indoor pool area! It was clearly a huge resort in previous times. Our hotel room was beautiful and two large single beds and a pool view was perfect! We both slept v well. Pools were lovely but the entertainment and the music can be loud at the main pool, we preferred the quieter pool. Hadn’t appreciated how much entertainment there was and it’s not something that bothers us but everyone seem to enjoy it! Food in buffet was excellent and always something delicious to eat - we didn’t bother to eat at à la carte restaurants which are a bus ride away but didn’t hear anything too positive about them anyway. Staff were fantastic, always friendly and helpful!

Upon arriving at the hotel, we received a warm welcome and were quickly given our room. The hotel staff and the entertainment team were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the hotel was more in line with a 2-star standard than a 5-star one. The glass tables were chipped, and the public toilet by the pool was in a terrible condition. The food was very poor – there were constantly no fries available, and cheese left over from dinner was served again at breakfast, even though it had already melted. Despite our efforts to be careful, we still suffered from food poisoning. After 11:00 p.m., the staff started clearing the tables, making guests feel that it was time to return to their rooms, which we found very impolite. The only major advantage was the large and well-equipped gym. The employees and staff were generally pleasant, but the hotel certainly does not deserve a 5-star rating.

Likes:- Staff were all very pleasant and helpful, even if they didn't fully understand you they smiled and nodded, which is what they are paid to do. Head of reception, Corina was very helpful and understanding. Zest Bar was good of an evening if you didn't like entertainment, barman Kemal happy, helpful and funny. Room was fine, overlooking golf course but on ground floor without much of a view. Needed minor attention, shower drainage not coping with water flow causing water to flow into bathroom, housekeeping remedy was to put towels onto wet areas needing extra towels. Bars:- Cheap spirits, tiny measures but served with a smile. Food:- Not to my wife's liking but I will try most things. Some nights fine other nights not so. Main problem was always only warm, like mine hot, might just be an English thing. Chicken wraps served at lunch time were excellent though. Italian Restaurant was very disappointing. Chicken was warm, tough, overcooked, inedible. Vegetables cold. In my opinion the food had been cooked several hours in advance, and warmed up to be served. The service on the other hand was very good, when I complained they didn't make excuses but offered me an alternative which I refused. Good service does not make the food any better. Entertainment:- Not to our liking, Can't say any more without being unkind. Pool:- Very nice, plenty of beds staff as usual very happy and helpful. This is only our view, others will vary. Give it a try you may love it, Good Luck.

Fantastic hotel, with all the necessities. The personell was nice and always helpful, huge buffet with every kind of food you need. Entertainment that varied each night. A café with good opening hours. The room was a good size and clean. The only thing to put a finger on I think was the bathroom. I would never design it that way, not very practical. There is no wall in to the bedroom, only blinds. So you can imagine you share all your bathroom noice with anyone you are staying with. The muslim shower was on the wrong side(left), not practical at all. Only one peg in the bathroom, so where should you hang all your clothes? The indoor swimming pool (depth 1,5 m), the fitness senter and the spa is in a separate building, accessible (only) with a golf cart. The outdoor swimming pools are 1,4 m and 1,1 m (next to loud music ). The environment is nice, international public. We saw several elderly people, and hijabis. Everyone is included. All in all a very successful stay. We enjoyed:). This hotel is easily recommended!

Avoid this hotel, like your life depended on it. Service is horrible. The ac in the room was broken, took them nearly 5 hours to move us to a different room. No food or drinks are available once buffet is over. Food has no taste. Its also far from everything. One positive is that they do have a shuttle to the suk.

A Solid 4-Star Experience (But Manage Your 5-Star Expectations) Stay: February 2026 | Resort: Pickalbatros Hotel du Golf Let me start by clarifying the rating: this resort is advertised as a 5-star property. If you are expecting the luxury level of a Four Seasons, Fairmont, or Le Méridien, you will be disappointed. I would realistically rank it as a high 3-star or a solid 4-star. That being said, if you adjust your expectations, it is still a very decent resort and we had a pleasant stay overall. Here is the breakdown of my experience: The Property & Rooms • Clean and Modern: The public areas and rooms are fairly modern, well-maintained, and very clean. My bedroom was well-appointed and comfortable. • Room Amenities: While daily tea and bottled water were always provided, I would have really appreciated an ironing board and a coffee maker in the room. The bedrooms have fairly thick doors so the rooms are really quiet at night. • No Construction: I noticed some previous reviews mentioned ongoing construction, but I am happy to report that I didn’t see or hear any construction noise during my stay. Food & Drinks • Great Buffet: The various buffets are a highlight, providing a fairly large selection. They feature outdoor grilling and tagines, a pasta station, and many other options. • Mediterranean Restaurant Quirk: We made a reservation at the Mediterranean restaurant (a short shuttle drive from the main hotel). Strangely, this alternative dining option only served water and s

Nice hotel, nice pool areas. The room was great, although didn't have an iron. One was provided after asking a few times. Staff mainly friendly, with a couple of exceptions. Where the stay fell down in expectations was the food. I have a few allergies which I emailed the hotel about when we booked the trip. However the restaurant seemed clueless about it. I told them I am allergic to gluten, and they told me that everything had gluten in, which wasn't helpful. It was only on the second day that the fantastic Samir came to see me and was very helpful, from them on making sure I had something to eat. That said, there still was very limited options for people with dietary requirements. But I appreciated his efforts, and his friendly service. Another thing to note is that the massages we had at the spa, whilst good, were not for the shy! They do not seem to worry about your state of undress and as the women who work at the spa don't speak much English it wasn't possible to discuss!

Our stay at the hotel was unfortunately disappointing due to a series of issues, particularly with the rooms. We had to change rooms three times. The first room had an old bathtub instead of the Italian shower we had booked, and it was only accessible by walking through an active construction area. The second room was on the first floor next to the security office, which offered no privacy, and the balcony window was broken and couldn’t be opened. The third room was slightly better, but we still struggled to open the balcony door, and the process to get this final room was long and frustrating. We also experienced a water leak in the toilet. Despite requesting help from the front desk, no one came, so we had to shut off the water ourselves. The TV was not a smart TV and didn’t work until we requested a technician, which added to the stress. The food was another low point. It was repetitive, lacked variety, and had little flavor. The Moroccan cuisine, in particular, was poorly prepared and did not reflect the richness of the country’s food culture. On the positive side, the staff were very friendly and helpful, especially those in the restaurant, at the pool, in housekeeping, and the entertainment team. Despite the friendly staff, the hotel's room issues, poor maintenance, and bland food make it hard to recommend

The hotel is a distance from the centre and main attractions of Marakesh however there is shuttle provided by the hotel but beware you need to give 24 hours notice if you wish to use the service. During your stay you are entitled to use 2 ala carte dining options other than the main buffet however you must book 24 hours in advance I checked in Friday and requested to use one of the options to be told both were fully booked Saturday and one was also fully booked on the Sunday one was also closed on a Monday so out of a possible 6 there was only one reservation available. The main buffet after 8pm is always in need of replenishing sometimes items are replenished some times not so go early if you want the full choice of buffet items.
