Appreciate the easy self check in and comfortable bed. Carpets need a deep clean and outside balcony needs some care. Price, especially for family weekend at NMU, was good. It is a low price motel with a place to sleep for a few nights. Most likely will be staying again in the future.

This property has great prices, especially since hotel prices have gone up recently. It’s a fine place to stay and you don’t have to wait in line to check in or check out. There’s a code on the door and you check yourself in. You park right in front of your door so there’s no problem with parking.

Good location on 41 but that’s about it. Unlike the sister property this isn’t a great stay. The automated check in worked well but once in the room things were worse. The carpet had big ripples in it, the ceiling tile had stains, the slider door was broken (handle), and the bed was made and clean. However the toilet appeared to still have poo stains/streaks in it.

The rooms are clean, I liked the contactless check-in and check-out, the property was tidy, with nice lawn area with places to bbq. There is a beautiful forest with walking trails in the back. And you can't beat the price. It's not fancy so if that's what you want this isn't the place for you. But if you are looking for a decent room that is clean, spacious with basic amenities that wont' break your bank this IS the place for your. I will be back for sure

It’s not a great place, but if you go in with low expectations it is sufficient. Room smelled of smoke yet is no smoking. Carpeting needs to be replaced. Could use a fresh coat of paint. Bathroom could be updated. Linens were clean. Again lower your expectations and you won’t be disappointed.

The property owner has 3 adjacent lodging facilities. We've always stayed in the other two without complaint, and this was our first (and last) time in the Brentwood. After we checked in, we noticed that the common areas (stairwells, walkways, windows) were badly in need of cleaning. The stairs and hallways didn't appear to have been vacuumed in weeks. The open windows in the stairwell had broken screens and were full of cobwebs and dirt. Our room had 2 recliners, one of which was broken. The armrest hung loose and the wooden frame was cracked. The height adjustment for the chair in front of the desk did not work and the seat was about 12 inches from the floor. So the room had one functional chair. There was a large insect in the room which we captured and brought over to the front desk (which was in one of the other facilities) when we reported the broken chair. The only thing that kept me from giving our stay 1 star instead of 2 was that the bed was comfortable. We will never stay at the Brentwood again.

There was no "front desk". We had to dial a phone number and talk to someone to get the code to open the door to our room. We asked for an early check in and were told that for an extra $20 our room wold be ready in around 30 minutes. we came back an hour later after getting lunch and the room still wasn't ready. after an additional 30 minutes, we got in to the room. It was clean, orderly and well stocked with the usual amenities. The staff person wo did the cleaning was hard to understand as she had only a third of the teeth in her mouth that she was born with. The computer coded door lock was operable with the code provided by the phone office lady but the deadbolt did not line up with the reception in the door jam. It was, therefore, impossible to lock the door from the outside. Beds were comfortable, TV was good and the bathroom was spacious and well stocked. Cold water faucet in the bathroom sink dripped and was impossible to tighten enough to make it stop.
