“Serviceable pub hotel. The rooms are dated and creaky but the bathrooms were freshened a few years ago and were fine. The beds are hard, and the carpet and furniture worn. The room was clean, however, and the staff friendly. Bottom line, this isn’t a luxury stay, but for a night or two if you need to be in Marlborough, this pub hotel is acceptable and clean.”

“Staff were very friendly on arrival and took us to our room. That was the only time we saw them and we spent 2 nights there 😅 The room was okay but the carpet could do with a good clean and maybe move the beds too, my son dropped a car under the bed and it came out covered in dust and hair… The room was chilly and we weren’t told how to turn the heating on, if it was even an option. The old style windows didn’t help either. The bathroom was in need of a refurbishment but at least the shower...
