The staff were very friendly and proactive, reaching out with texts and calls before my arrival and providing clear instructions for using the heater. The road conditions were good, and the location is excellent. Just a short walk to the river and the bridge. It’s quiet and nicely removed from the busier South Lake Tahoe area. The property offers convenient amenities like a microwave and a hot water dispenser. One improvement that would make winter stays even better would be a small communal area for breakfast or simple meal prep, so guests don’t have to eat in the room and risk making a mess.

This is my fourth stay at the Creekside Lodge and it won't be my last. The staff are very attentive and the rooms are clean and quiet. Nestled in tiny Markleeville, this property is a great stop for anyone touring the Sierras.

Nice, enjoyable weekend

Stayed here after going to grover hot springs. It's a small place, but it's very clean and well maintained. Everything was good. It's not a luxury hotel, but we enjoyed our stay. The person working there was very nice and friendly, and the location is perfect. Make restaurant reservations, there's only one place in town!

Best Stay in Alpine Area!

Absolutely the best shower in the world, excellent pressure and plenty of hot water. Host, Todd was superbly helpful and friendly. Location next to a brewpub was perfect. Cannot recommend this place highly enough.
