Gem of a place
Delightful place and Claire was a fabulous host. We arrived late and a bit frazzled but woke up feeling refreshed and rather spoilt in our very lovely room and after a wonderful breakfast. We will definitely be back.
5 days with good breakfast and cheery host.
The only issue which is symptom of old stone buildings was nowhere to plug devices in. Finally found a power board under the bed. But minor issue.
A very pleasant stay in a small but very comfortable beautifully presented B & B run by a very nice family. There are only a few rooms and there is off street parking available. The room was very spacious, had tea and coffee making facilities, TV, Wi-Fi was available and everywhere was very clean. A lovely freshly cooked breakfast was very nice including hot and cold drinks, cereals and fruit. It was very quiet and in a nice part of the village. There was a nice local pub serving very nice food just a couple of minutes walk away. A very enjoyable short stay.
A superb B&B in a lovely little village. A gorgeous house, beautifully furnished and extremely comfortable. Friendly and welcoming and the breakfast was perfect.
Lovely owner and very considerate. Genuinely very good example of a great B&B

This was a 1-night stay for work. I was in the Castle room. Car park was free but small. Lovely greeting from owner. Room was spacious as was the ensuite which had a roll-top bath, as well as separate shower. TV was okay as was WiFi. Included in the price was a breakfast, which was offered with cereal, bread for toasting, fresh juice, hot drink and cooked breakfast. I had the cooked breakfast. Room had a desk and chair to work at if required. Nice touch of a small fridge in the upper hallway containing fresh milk for the hot drinks in your room.
The guesthouse was very clean, the owner was friendly the food was very nice and the location was ideal for visiting rhe county of Rutland. I would recommend this guest house to anyone whinis looking for a short getaway
Lovely location with a pub servicing good pub for a few minutes walk away. Off road parking was more than sufficent and on arrival, Claire made us feel very welcome. We had the Castle Room which was very spacious and clean with everything we needed. The ambience of the property was that of a period, rustic farmhouse, beautifully decorated with many lovely flower arrangements.
A place to be pampered like royalty. Nothing to fault.

Arrived late for check in and couldn’t get hold of B&B by mobile, landline or ringing doorbell. Had to find other accommodation. It was 11pm when I arrived and when you know you have a guest due to arrive and you are late you might expect the B&B to do everything they can to ensure the guest isn’t left outside in the cold.
