Very accommodating staff - love the honesty bar, a great touch. Helpful staff, great breakfast, nice to see an authentic guest house with some character!

Disliked: Staff & service
Disappointing but has potential
On arrival we filled in our breakfast sheets and asked what time breakfast was from and to as we had to be somewhere the day after. We were told 8am but not to make it too early as he didn’t want to get up. The room was fine and spacious however there were a lot of chintzy items in the room as decoration that were gathering dust. The toilet seat was broken and kept moving about when in use. It is right on a busy road where the front door is at the side that leads to the main road. However the back door leads straight into the car park. But we weren’t allowed to use this door in the evening as they locked. Surely providing residents with a key as many hotels do would contribute towards safety to avoid walking along a very busy road. It is a shame as the place has character let down by staff
Didn't realise it was on a busy junction with main road and roundabout outside the bedrooms but it was ok. Nice breakfast but I'm never a fan of ordering the night before.
Beautifully presented farmhouse, 5 star service.
This is one of the most comfortable places that I have ever stayed. The owners have really gone the extra mile to make the truly a memorable experience for their guests.
Great B&B with a bit more than the ordinary to offer. Room was a blend of farm house beams, modern style bathroom and every little homely touch had been thought of and provided. Hearty breakfast and great welcome.
Owners were very friendly and welcoming
Room had a lovely view of the garden and overall the accommodation was very good - breakfast was excellent too.
I had a very enjoyable stay. Clean, comfortable and excellent cooked breakfast. The only negative is the proximity to a noisy road but ear plugs were provided.
Friendly welcoming staff. Stayed in the SHREWSBURY room and very clean and comfortable. Great nights sleep and lovely hot shower.
Will be staying here when I am in the area from now on
